저자 : 더글러스 맥아더

미군의 육군으로서 최고의 원수까지 지낸 미국 역사상 길이 남을 군인이다. 웨스트포인트를 수석으로 졸업한 그는 극동 지역의 정세에 대한 해박한 지식과 전략을 지닌 유능한 군인이었다. 말년에는 정치인과 언론인으로 활동했다.
